From December 11–13, 2026, Kenyans, members of the African diaspora, families, friends, community leaders and residents of Brampton are invited to gather at Ken Whillans Square for a celebration of Kenyan independence, heritage, identity and community.

This is an opportunity to celebrate where Kenya has come from, recognize the contributions of Kenyans in Canada and bring generations together around a shared sense of pride and belonging.
