Whether you are preparing to apply to college or university, exploring different programs, wondering about admission requirements, looking for scholarships and financial aid, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, this workshop will give you practical information, direct guidance and the opportunity to ask the questions that matter to you.

What You’ll Learn

 

This workshop is designed to take you from uncertainty to a clearer understanding of your next education step.

During the session, you will learn how to:

• Explore college and university pathways and understand the different post-secondary options available to you.
• Understand admission requirements so you know what schools and programs may require before you apply.
• Learn about scholarships, OSAP and financial aid and discover options that may help make your education more affordable.
• Build your personal education action plan with clear next steps based on your goals and circumstances.

 

 

You do not need to have everything figured out before attending. The purpose of the workshop is to help you understand your options and begin making informed decisions about your future.

Student Panel + Live Q&A

Hear from students and gain practical insight into the post-secondary journey. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about school, applications, choosing programs, student life and navigating the transition into higher education.

 

Free Education Resources

Participants will receive useful education resources to help them continue researching and planning after the workshop.

 

One-on-One EEAW Support

Need more personalized guidance? Participants can learn about the support available through the Entrepreneurship, Education Access and Workforce Readiness (EEAW) Program, including assistance with exploring education opportunities and planning their next steps.

• Are unsure what program or field of study to choose.
• Need help understanding admission requirements.
• Want to learn about scholarships, OSAP and other financial aid opportunities.

• Want to explore different post-secondary pathways before making a decision.
• Have questions about their next step after high school or during a transition in their education journey.

 

 

Parents and supporters are also welcome.
